A 35-year-old man identified as Samy Crespo Adorno, alias “El Chapo”, was arrested at around 6:30 am on Tuesday in the La Escuelita sector of the Mavilla neighborhood, in Vega Alta.
Crespo Adorno was on the Bayamón area’s “10 Most Wanted” list. Against “El Chapo”, there was an arrest warrant for violation of the Law on Weapons and Abuse of the Elderly, for events that occurred in August 2022.
According to the investigation, the individual allegedly assaulted his father with a piece of block.
“El Chapo” was brought before Judge Catherine Brunner, who set him on $170,000 bail and was later admitted to the Bayamón Correctional Complex.
The preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 11.
