A 52-year-old woman was arrested early this Sunday for allegedly assaulting her partner with a flare gun.
The female is a neighbor of the Puerto Real plots in Cabo Rojo.
The victim was treated at the Cabo Rojo Metropolitan Hospital where the doctor on duty diagnosed an open wound on the left arm next to the elbow and burns.
Agent Olfred Ortiz from the Technical Services Division who worked on the scene appeared at the scene.
The case was referred to the Domestic Violence Division of the CIC of Mayagüez.
