The injured were a 34-year-old man and another 25-year-old man, who was taken by their relatives to a hospital for medical attention, where they ruled that he had died.

The police officers who were patrolling approached the Federal highway to Cuernavaca near Montecillo street in the La Palma neighborhood, where they saw a man on the road with blood stains on his body and another person with leg injuries, reason why they called the emergency services.

Paramedics were found at the scene who diagnosed the 43-year-old man without vital signs due to gunshots to the chest, for which the area was cordoned off and the corresponding authorities were notified.

Meanwhile, the C2 Sur monitors informed the police that through video replay they captured a vehicle involved which they followed up in real time and located on the Mexico-Cuernavaca federal highway at the intersection with Reforma street in San Andrés Totoltepec where they got hit.

At the scene, the officers told them to get off three motorcycles that they got on after leaving the car in which they escaped, so they detained four men.

In accordance with the police action protocols, those involved were investigated and seized a long firearm supplied with eight cartridges, a short firearm with a useful cartridge, 46 small transparent plastic bags with alleged cocaine, three telephones cell phones and the three motorcycles.

The detained men were 24, 26, 27 and 30 years old, they were read their rights and then they were transferred to the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who would make the corresponding inquiries, and will integrate the investigation folder and determine their legal situation.
