As this newspaper announced yesterday, two important changes in the structure of the La Plata Police were officially confirmed. They affect the sub-stations of Gorina and Arana, although they have already announced that rearrangements could be registered in other sections of our city.
In an official report, it was noted that “for operational reasons, the replacement of the heads of the Arana Deputy Commissioners dependent on the 3rd La Plata Police Station and Gorina dependent on the 10th City Bell Police Station was resolved.” It is indicated that “in Arana, Commissioner Rita Guerrero was replaced as Head of the Unit, being replaced by Commissioner Sergio Gómez” and that “in Gorina, Commissioner Miguel Martinez was replaced, being replaced by Officer Principal Martin Jonatan Robledo”.
As specified, Commissioner Sergio Gomez comes from serving in the La Plata Patrol Command, while Chief Officer Martín Robledo comes from the City Bell Police Station where until today he served as 2nd Chief of the Police Station. It was also clarified that both officers are neighbors of the La Plata party.
With respect to Commissioners Rita Guerrero and Miguel Martinez, it was reported that they began to fulfill functions in the Headquarters of the PDS La Plata.
The decision on these two changes comes after a series of complaints about cases of insecurity, one of which included shots.
