In the Eldorado police station, a complaint was filed in recent days for the alleged attempted kidnapping of an adolescent member of the Mbya Tekoa Yvoty Porã community of Colonia Mado, who in this context was also beaten and robbed.

According to information provided by the Aboriginal Pastoral Missions Team (Emipa), the victim of the attack is called Néstor B. (14). “He suffered a brutal assault by a neighbor in the area,” they denounced.

“The event happened last Thursday, when around 9:00 p.m. Nelson A. entered the community on the main road and, without saying a word, dragged and tried to force Nestor into his vehicle, a gray Kangoo. In addition , he slapped him twice,” they detailed, and in that line they mentioned that “upon hearing the screams, members of the community came out to help him and fortunately he managed to escape, but he could not prevent Nelson A. from taking his cell phone.”

As revealed by the Pastoral, the suspect, before leaving, “threatened everyone present saying that if he saw them on the street he would run them over with the car: ‘I have a weapon in my house, now I didn’t bring it, but if I see people from the community anywhere, I’m going to shoot,’ he warned.”

Beyond that, always according to what was provided by Emipa, the defendant stated “that if they tried to file a complaint at the Mado police station, the police would not do anything because they are relatives and friends.”

The complaint was made by the mburuvicha of Yvoty Porã, Hilario Velázquez, at the Eldorado police station, who before the authorities of the unit “provided the information that this same person committed a similar action in the Yychyry community.”

The investigation is in the hands of justice and so far there are no detainees.
