A body inside a barrel was found floating this Monday in the waters of a Malibu beach (California), reported the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD), which cordoned off the area.
The barrel was seen floating last night in the sea off the popular beach Malibu Lagoon State Beach by cleaning and sanitation workers, who decided to wait until daylight to retrieve it, television reported. ABC7.
During the morning of Monday the workers took the barrel out of the sea and found the body.

No information has been released about the gender or possible age of the deceased person.
The authorities closed a part of the beach to where the barrel was taken.
