Tonight a puppy of the Jorkie breed, sleeps again under the care of the store that has it for sale but not having been here during the last four days leaves an investigation open by the police of the city of Doral, then that the animal was stolen by a woman.
Store employees say police were very helpful in finding the animal, going to the home of the woman who allegedly took it and retrieving it.
The woman who took him away was identified as 32-year-old Elizabeth Maria Valdes, who is now on $5,000 bond for third-degree burglary after being held at the TGK county jail.
Authorities “went to her house and made her return it,” says Oscar, a World Famous Puppies employee. “The police helped a lot with that.”
Hours after the alleged theft, store employees asked “to let us know and help us” find the person responsible. Request that was heard by the authorities and now the puppy is back with its temporary owners.
“Although I had food for him, perhaps because he was scared or going to eat, he was not going to have water because the girl supposedly came drugged,” says Oscar from World Famous Puppies, where they never understood why he took it.
“I really don’t know, I think the girl had already seen it” before, because the puppy was not in any of the exposed windows when she took it away last Friday. At that moment he said “that he wanted the dog and that if they didn’t give it to him he was going to kill everyone.”
Those who were in the store that day say that she came directly for him around 11:50 in the morning, she went directly through the door: “He passed by here, he threatened everyone, he said that if they didn’t let him take the dog, he would go.” to kill everyone, she already knew where the puppy was… this is the door, she entered through here, took the dog and left”.
Now that he’s been found, after a shower and vet care, the 4-legged little guy is up for sale again. He is still waiting for a name and more importantly, an owner who will fill him with love.
