When they opened it, they discovered that there was $47,000 inside, a Motorola cell phone, a checkbook, and a notebook, so they kept it safe inside the security post. A few minutes later, A man appeared asking if they had seen a backpack with the same characteristics as the one found by the agents, corroborating that he was the owner.
“I want to thank the honesty of the girls from the Urban Prevention Police, who kept the backpack and I was able to recover my belongings”he explained.
As he stated, he is a native of the town of saladillo and he was in La Plata to carry out a series of procedures when he approached the park and sat on one of the benches. When leaving, he forgot his backpack, but he finally managed to get it back.
