A newborn baby was found this Monday in a garbage dump in the town of San Pedro and was helped by neighbors and members of the local police station.
According to preliminary data provided by police sources, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m., when a woman reported finding a newborn baby in a garbage dump located near the First Police station, on the corner of Avenida Güemes and Admiral Brown.
The spokesmen indicated that the child was taken by police personnel to the local hospital, where he is currently being treated.
A medical report on the baby’s state of health is awaited, while the intervening uniformed officers began the corresponding work to determine what happened and find the child’s parents.
