Buenos Aires Police officers found this Sunday morning the lifeless body of a man wanted since last Saturday by his family and friends, after he disappeared without prior notice. The troops are currently working at the scene to try to determine what happened to the 48-year-old man who was identified as Claudio Javier Santinelli.

Sources linked to the investigation explained to 0221.com.ar what The victim’s body was found in a mountain area next to the Bruno Zavala road, which leads to the Regatas Club in the neighboring city of Ensenada.

The discovery occurred around 10 in the morning, after the wife, of the man who had disappeared until then, suspected that her husband might have entered the mountain near the access road to the Regatas Club, for which she asked Security officials to review public monitoring cameras.

After reviewing the images and seeing a man enter the property -located behind the Barragán Fort-, the police went to investigate the area. Upon arrival at the scene, the troops found the body of Santinelli, whose death was verified by medical personnel.

The victim’s relatives pointed out that the 48-year-old man suffered from acute depression.

Although everything indicates that the victim would have taken his own life, the results of the tests are still awaited to determine for sure how everything happened.

The investigation of the case labeled as “Investigation of causes of death” is carried out by UFI No. 7 under the responsibility of Dr. Virginia Bravo.
