The investigation into the case of sexual abuse in the bakery The Ideal de La Plata continues its course and little by little more details of what happened begin to become known. In this context, in the last hours it was learned that, in addition to the young woman who dared to file a complaint, other employees of the place would also have been victims of similar attacks at the hands of the owner of the renowned business.
Judicial sources confirmed to 0221.com.ar that at least four other women would have been victims of the defendant, according to the testimonies collected at the bakery. So far it is known that two girls tried to defend themselves from the attacks and one even scratched him, for which she was suspended and lost part of her salary.
The sources consulted by this medium revealed that the modus operandi was repeated over and over again, subduing and threatening them “because they needed the job.” Thus, in addition to touching them, the man repeatedly asked them via WhatsApp to send him photos of himself without clothes.
“I worked in that place for 3 or 4 years. He sent me messages, asked me for nude photos and, one of the many times, he locked me in the bathroom and put his hand in my vagina”recounted one of the victims in dialogue with local media and added: “He locked us in the bathroom that we were cleaning and harassed us and tried to kiss us, put his hand in our bra, in our pants, he squeezed us”.
It should be remembered that in the last few hours and by order of the prosecutor Betina Lacki, police officers arrested the owner of the bakery located at 3 and 64 as a result of the complaint filed in UFI No. 2 of La Plata in 2022, which accounts for events that occurred between 2017 and 2019. However, the appearance of new testimonies, further complicated the situation of the defendant and is that the authorities believe they are in the presence of a “sexual predator”.
The man, it is worth noting, is already at the disposal of Justice and in the next few hours he must be investigated by the prosecutor while the investigation against him progresses.
