However, the Oaxaca Prosecutor’s Office indicated that it has taken action on the matter and will investigate this case thoroughly, to clarify the circumstances that led to this alleged accident.

The police report reported that the manslaughter occurred around 12:10 a.m. on January 1, 2023, when the victim (a minor) was in the company of other people in front of his home when firearm detonations were heard. , apparently they were shots in the air, and one of the projectiles hit him, inflicting injuries that caused his death.
In addition, a multidisciplinary team of specialists in different subjects was deployed to collect indications and evidence, as well as to carry out scientific studies that allow the lines of investigation to be defined with greater certainty to clarify the case.
