TULARE COUNTY, California – Sheriff’s detectives were called to the area of Road 124, north of Visalia, to investigate the discovery of a lifeless body in an irrigation canal.
Officers reached Road 124, between A328 and A352, from where they recovered the body located in the water-filled canal.
Officials say the deceased was identified as 84-year-old Robert Perry.
The cause of death is still pending, waiting for the highway, the authorities added.
