The Police investigate the discovery of the body of a woman – in a bundle and covered with sheets – this Friday afternoon in an apartment in the Islote neighborhood in Arecibo.
The agents arrived at the place, after the investigation into the disappearance of Carolyn Anez Rivera, 29 years olda woman who was last seen last Tuesday.
The director of the Arecibo CIC, Lieutenant Carlos Vélez, told Telenoticias that when they interviewed the couple of the disappeared woman, a man identified as Francisco Rodriguez Rodriguezgave “vague” and inconsistent information.
This attitude and testimonies from the neighbors led them to request a search warrant that culminated in the discovery of the body in the apartment where Añez Rivera and Rodríguez Rodríguez lived.
The man is in custody and the woman’s body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Sciences for official identification.
