Members of the Regional Unit V seized more than 350 liters of fuel distributed in drums, detected at control points in the framework of preventive patrols. The drivers of the vehicles were notified of the cause and fined.
Firstly, in a vehicle control carried out this morning on República Argentina avenue, a few meters from Bernabé Méndez street in Puerto Iguazú, police officers from the Infantry Division intercepted a Peugeot 206 vehicle that was irregularly transporting 150 liters of fuel distributed in six drums.
Meanwhile, in another procedure that took place minutes later a few meters from the first procedure, another vehicle was identified where 210 liters of super gasoline were seized, which were carried irregularly in eight drums inside a Chevrolet Celta.
Therefore, the flammable substance along with the shots were seized and deposited at the jurisdictional police station. Meanwhile, drivers aged 21 and 42 received the corresponding infraction certificates.
