On Sunday evening, lightning struck an apartment building in Alberschwende. Resident Hubert Moosbrugger describes how he experienced the incident.
On Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., an indirect lightning strike occurred in a two-party house in Alberschwende after a thunderstorm.

Four people were present in the house at the time of the indirect lightning strike. Nobody got hurt.

The Alberschwende fire brigade was on site with 25 men and three vehicles. The vkw emergency service was also on site, as well as the Egg police with two men.
The fire brigade checked the whole house for possible fires.
