Rome, 13 apr. The Italian and French emergency teams are looking for three people who disappeared under the snow in the Alps, in the Valle d’Aosta area (northern Italy), where they were affected by an avalanche in a border area between the two countries. .

The three disappeared were attending a mountain course when the avalanche occurred, early in the afternoon in the Val di Rhemes, at an altitude of 2,300 meters in the Tsanteleina area, informed the Italian emergency teams, who were also has added a French device.

The instructor of the course, a 49-year-old man who is admitted to the emergency room, managed to escape and notify the Alpine Rescue technicians of Valle d’Aosta.

Rescuers are trying to access the area by land, as weather conditions make helicopter access impossible.

Last Sunday, another avalanche on the Armancette glacier in eastern France, near the Italian border, killed six people.
