On the Marseille side, holidaymakers are waiting for you. The tourist season has already started in Cassis.
On the morning of Wednesday May 3, a Parisian family is enjoying breakfast in the sun. “It’s always full and it’s a pleasure”, rejoices Quentin Cometx, waiter. The mercury reads 21°C. At the market, tourists are just as numerous, to the delight of traders.
The creeks attract tourists
Some holidaymakers also want to take to the open sea: since the region is attractive, why not visit it by boat? “People come to see us, come and see the creeks, come to seek the sun in the south. We started well for the Easter holidays, there are a lot of people and I think it will continue”, believes Bernard Micalles, boat captain. The tourist season promises to be good in the region. In May, with the many public holidays, attendance should be as high as on July 14th.
