In the night to Saturday (May 06, 2023) it is to a serious traffic accident on the A73 between Buttenheim and Forchheim North came. After initial information was a with five persons Occupied car drove onto the A73 towards Nuremberg at the Buttenheim junction.
The driver probably wanted to overtake a truck driving in front of him and pulled directly into the left lane. He missed an approaching car that was already trying to overtake in the left lane. The driver of this car was unable to brake in time and hit the car with five occupants. Total were four people injured, an inmate had to be freed from the wreck.
