WASHINGTON, DC. A new survey by Bloomberg shows that the former president Donald Trump surpasses the president Joe Biden in five of the seven swing states that could determine the 2024 presidential election.

Eleven months before the elections, Trump outstrips Biden by 5 percentage points among registered voters in a head-to-head matchup in seven swing states.

Trump’s lead is within the margin of error in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, but is larger in Georgia and North Carolina.

The survey had a margin of error of 1 percentage point for the seven states combined and between 3 and 5 percentage points for the individual states.

The survey also found that undecided voters are increasingly dissatisfied with Biden. 56% said they are disappointed with the current US president, while only 34% said they are satisfied.

In addition, they are especially concerned about the economy, inflation and immigration. 64% of those voters said the economy is the most important problem facing the country, and 60% said inflation is a very serious problem.

The poll results are a blow to Biden, who has been struggling to regain the support of undecided voters. The poll shows that Trump is in a strong position to win re-election if he can maintain his lead in swing states.

According to the Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, Biden faces a number of political problems that threaten his re-election in 2024. These problems come both from within his own party and from independent voters.

Within the Democratic Party, Biden faces growing dissatisfaction among black and young voters. Black voters, who have been a pillar of Democratic support, are increasingly disillusioned with the president over his handling of the economy and racial justice. Young voters, for their part, are more concerned about economic problems and climate change than the social issues that have been a priority for the American president.

Among independent voters, Biden also faces challenges, a key demographic in the presidential election, they have an unfavorable opinion of the president at 58%, they are worried about inflation, the economy and national security.

Overall, the Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll shows Biden is in a difficult position to win re-election in 2024. The president faces challenges within his own party and among independent voters.
