Last month, the deadline for applying for the job as a new commentator at NRK Sport expired. In the public applicant list, which is reproduced by, among other things Media24there are a total of 111 applicants.
Among them is TV profile Grunde Myhrer (26).
– I can confirm that I have applied for the position, but do not wish to comment anything further at this time, writes Myhrer in an SMS to TV 2.
No stranger to the sport
The TV profile is by no means alien to the sport. To his 43,000 followers, he often shares photos from the ski slopes and skydiving. At the age of 16, Myhrer moved away from home to attend a top sports gymnasium, where he focused on swimming.
Soon, the 26-year-old will also be featured in the new season of Kompani Lauritzen.
The TV profile first became known when he was on “Paradise Hotel” in 2017, but has recently been on both “Camp Culinaris” and danced on the floor in “Skal vi danse”.
On the latter, Myhrer climbed almost all the way to the top.
Going through the applicant list
TV 2 has been in contact with football manager Mads Håby at NRK, who says that they are in the process of looking through the list of applicants.
– It is gratifying to see that there is great commitment and many exciting applicants for the position, says Håby.
– We do not want to go into specifics about individuals who have applied, but are happy that both Grunde and the 110 others see this task as an exciting challenge.
