Two dead after plane crash at Florida airport

At least two people died due to a nosedive from a small plane at the North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, in Broward County.

As reported by the authorities federal, the ship plunged into a tailspin this Friday and caused immediate death of one person and left two other survivors trapped.

The next victim died a day later of the accident, clarified the media.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Cessna crashed after veering off track. A witness said he heard the engine rev up and seconds later heard a loud bang.

Roz Atwater, who was taking flight lessons at the airport, said it all happened very quickly.

“We saw all the police coming, the helicopter and everything,” Atwater said after the crash that trapped two people.

Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue personnel found one person dead and removed the seriously injured survivors from the plane and took them on stretchers to Memorial Regional Hospital as a “trauma alert.”

Fire Rescue personnel also reported that they had controlled a small fuel leak.

Hours later, a red tarp covered part of the plane.

The Cessna 172P is registered to the Aeroflyin Corp. in Pembroke Pines.

According to the Pembroke Pines Police Department, airport personnel also responded and federal authorities were tasked with investigating the cause of the plane crash.

According to firefighters, the problems with the Cessna 172 plane would have started during takeoff, around noon.
