Among these incidents reported to the 911 phone, two deaths were reported. The first of them, a drowned person on the afternoon of Sunday the 9th and the murder of an element of the National Guardon Sunday April 16.
In addition, Zacarías Curi added that among the attention provided by the Progreso Municipal Police, there were also fights, cases of family violence, heat strokes and people who required help to get out of the sea before drowning.
“245 aids were the ones that we registered in 15 days, that is why we must make a call to people that if they are going to visit the beaches, then they should visit them with great prudence, a lot of control, that they respect the environment, families, the citizens, that they enjoy and take care of them”, he added.
