Three people were arrested after having dragged two police officers after evading a traffic control. The event took place on Sunday in the city of Córdoba, on Rafael Núñez and Hugo Wast streets.
At the scene, police personnel proceeded to arrest three young people aged 21, 20 and 19 after they did not stop during an identification process at the request of the uniformed officers.
The young people were driving aboard a gray Volkswagen Gol Trend. When they were identified, they ignored the order of Petty Officer Raúl Córdoba. The police ended up hijacking the vehicle.
The video, which quickly went viral, shows the car being stopped in a double park. At that moment, the driver begins to accelerate and drags two officers who remain on the hood of the vehicle several meters while yelling at him to stop.
Subsequently, the footage shows the moment in which the Police manage to stop and subdue the driver while an officer is lying in the central flowerbed of Avenida Rafael Núñez, with injuries to his lower limbs.
An emergency service 107 was present at the scene, which verified the injuries suffered by the officer and referred him to the Police Polyclinic.
