For the past few days, many rumors have evoked the imminent arrival of the Ubisoft+ service within the Xbox ecosystem. Today, the French group confirms the news, announcing the availability of Ubisoft+ Multi Access on Microsoft consoles, which “grants subscribers access to a gigantic and ever-growing catalog of games, which includes many titles from the catalog.”
Yet another subscription for Xbox gamers
Concretely, Ubisoft+ Multi Access will offer its subscribers immediate and unlimited access to many in-house games, including the latest Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and other The Division. In total, the subscription gives access to more than 60 games on Xbox, including many famous titles in premium edition including Anno 1800, Child of Light, For Honor, Ghost Recon, Monopoly, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Rayman Legends…

For the French publisher, the ultimate objective is obviously to provide access to the entire catalog. In addition to access to base games, Ubisoft+ Multi Access provides access to DLCs, as well as bonus in-game benefits.”And that is a real plus integrated into the service” indicates Philippe Tremblay, director of subscriptions at Ubisoft.
Bad timing, bad price…
However, do not expect to find this new subscription formula warm in your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Indeed, the service offered by Ubisoft is displayed at the price of € 17.99 per month. The subscription is non-binding, but is in no way integrated into Microsoft’s offer, and is therefore added to the player’s various monthly expenses… unlike the EA Play subscription, included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Between a very badly chosen timing, Ubisoft having been forced to cancel / postpone many games recently, and a formula whose price is unreasonable for many players, it is difficult to imagine them rushing on this new subscription. Certainly, this allows access to many titles of the French giant, but at this price, really?
