Borussia Dortmund fans need to dress warmly. Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr FC are apparently also targeting Marco Reus. According to a report in the Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo’s new club is interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund forward on a free transfer.
After the CR7 deal, Al Nassr wants to attract more stars. Chelsea’s N’Golo Kanté (31) and Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard (32) are also behind FT-Info on the wish list. Luka Modric (37) has already been rebuffed by the Saudis.
Reus is waiting
33-year-old Reus’ contract with BVB expires at the end of the season. So far, both sides have not agreed on an extension – which is probably not least due to the captain’s recurring injuries. According to the ‘Daily Mail’, the unclear situation in Dortmund is also attracting clubs from England who see their chance at Reus.
One thing is clear: purely financially, Borussia cannot keep up with any offer from Saudi Arabia. Reus himself still sees his future on Strobelallee. However, BVB should not take too long with an offer for the 48-time national player. The competition is lurking.
