As a child it is easy to believe in many different things, even if they are ridiculous or simple, like the existence of Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy or even Cupidstories that adults share with children in the first years of life.

Americans Think Brown Cows Make Chocolate Milk

Growing up and living life, children realize the reality of things, stop believing in those absurd tales and focus on what really matters, however this is not always the case and there are adults who believe in ridiculous information.

Along the same lines, according to a survey, about 10% of Americans believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

The US Dairy Innovation Center with Edelman Intelligenceconducted a survey to determine if adults in USA know for sure the origin of chocolate milk. Although it seems a waste of resources to investigate the subject, the results showed the opposite, according to what was reported by upsocl.

According to the campaign website: “The purpose of this survey was to measure some interesting and fun facts about consumer perceptions of dairy, it is not a scientific or academic study seeking to be published.”

Americans Don’t Know Where Chocolate Milk Comes From

Similarly, they explained that the results of the survey are statistically accurate, that is, they are real. As they reported, they interviewed 1,000 American adults and the responses obtained were from all 50 states of the American nation.

The findings translate to the fact that about 10% of the adult population in the United States believes that milk is not made with cocoa, but is produced from brown cows. The number may seem small in comparison, but that means that 16 million people agree.

In the same survey, there was a result of 48% of those who said they do not know where chocolate milk comes from.
