The people in Berlin and Brandenburg can look forward to mild temperatures this week. Up to 20 degrees are possible, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. However, the spring-like temperatures will be accompanied by persistent wind. The week starts sunny and dry. During the night it cools down to four degrees, and there may be occasional frost near the ground.

Tuesday also begins with sunshine. In the course of the afternoon some clouds will appear. The temperatures climb up to 22 degrees. According to the DWD, stronger gusts of wind are to be expected locally. It will become increasingly cloudy on Wednesday night. The temperatures drop to eight degrees and it can get wet in some areas.

There will be a lot of clouds and rain in places on Wednesday. Temperatures of up to 20 degrees are possible. Even at night it can get wet again at times with low temperatures of around eight degrees.

With up to 19 degrees, heavy clouds and rain are to be expected again on Thursday. The mix of heavy clouds and rain showers will persist into Friday night. It cools down to eight degrees. (dpa)
