Agents of Customs and Border Protection (CBP, for its acronym in English) managed to intercept a shipment of 3 million 520 thousand tablets of fentanyl that came hidden between boxes with green beans.

The discovery was made at the port of entry of Otay Mesa, Californiawhose value of this lethal drug in the streets of North America amounts to 21 thousand 120 million dollars (380 thousand 160 million pesos).

The customs agents determined to carry out a more rigorous agricultural inspection of the cargo of green beans, for which they instructed the driver to drive the truck to an area of “non-intrusive inspection” to perform a scan.
