A bright flash in the middle of the night. If you live in the north of France or in the south of England, you may have seen a shooting star on the night of Sunday to Monday February 13. It is actually a meteoroid, dubbed Sar 2667, which entered the Earth’s atmosphere around 4 a.m. according to the European Space Agency.

The small asteroid was particularly visible above Rouen (Seine-Maritime), but Internet users also shared videos in which it can be seen from Paris or the south of England. This is only the seventh time an asteroid has been predicted before it arrives. “a sign of rapid advances in asteroid detection”welcomed the European Space Agency on Twitter.
