A gang of between 30 and 50 robbers executed a quick and brazen robbery at the Nordstrom department store inside the Westfield Topanga shopping center in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
Armed with pepper spray and with their faces covered by hoods and masks, the robbers attacked the luxury store, leaving chaos in their wake.
The thieves efficiently neutralized the store’s security guards using a bear deterrent pepper spray, gaining unrestricted access to high-end handbags and luxury clothing.
Within minutes, the thieves smashed shelves, shop windows and made a quick getaway, with a estimated value between $60,000 and $100,000 dollars, as estimated by NBC News.

According to the EFE agency, the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, condemned the recent increase in robberies in retail stores and described the acts as “absolutely unacceptable.” She urged those responsible for these criminal acts to be held accountable.
