A large group of students from different faculties of the National University of La Plata (UNLP) mobilized today to the Ministry of Transportation of the Province of Buenos Aires, in 10 and 61, to demand that the holder of that portfolio, Jorge D’Onofrio, “the full implementation of the university ticket”.
Representatives of the University Federation of La Plata (FULP), which called for the day of protest, expressed that “we came to mobilize to demand the university ticket and its full implementation.”
“Many colleagues, even entrants, who are having problems. We are looking for the amounts to be credited. Although everyone has already requested it and made the request in the Siu Guaraní, the amounts are not reaching the SUBE cards,” they affirmed.
“We have come to mobilize and block the street. There are colleagues who are already discussing so that our right can be implemented. At the beginning of the year we had an amount improved from previous years, we need more to be able to access the public and free university,” they said.
“We need an increase according to what is being experienced so that students can come to our faculties,” they stated.
