A new millennium begins in the southern part of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. After the death of his longtime enemy, Askeladd, Thorfinn has nothing left to live for. He had been bought by the lord of those lands, Ketil, as a “slave” and then used to work on his farm. Thorfinn meets a young man here, Einar, who is a slave just like him. Meeting Einar made Thorfinn face the sins he’s committed in the past and begin to find a new reason to live. Meanwhile Canute, who has become the king of England, tries to extend his domain to found the “promised land”. This is “The Story of a True Warrior (Saga)”. “The Story of an Atonement and Redemption (Saga)” found after the prologue.
