Three aspirants from the Federal Police (PFA), two of them women, were injured today when they were attacked with bullets in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Agronomía.

The assailant is an agent from the Barrial division of the Federal Police who was detained by Buenos Aires police officers at the intersection of Nazca and Beiró avenues, in the Agronomía neighborhood, where the tragic episode occurred that would have been triggered by a situation of violence from gender.

According to reports, the attacker was identified as Sebastián Vargas Orellana, who had had a romantic relationship with one of the victims.

This woman, identified as 26-year-old Camila Soledad Juárez, was shot in the right thigh and abdomen and was transferred at risk to the Tornú Hospital by a SAME ambulance.

Also at Juárez’s side was another would-be PFA officer, 30-year-old Cintia Santa Cruz, who was injured in the attack when she was shot twice in the abdomen.

Another young man, all of them colleagues at the PFA NCO School. There, Santa Cruz was shot twice in the abdomen.
