VIRAL: Cubana steals attention by dancing at the Central American Games

A Cuban woman stole the attention of the public by dancing at the Central American and Caribbean Games and “convinced” dozens of people to go and witness the games, which take place in San Salvador.

The woman, who is part of the island’s delegation attending the sporting eventdanced wildly in the stands of one of the competition venues, and was applauded by the attendees while bringing several smiles to the referees.

The video was posted on TikTok by the user “@zurdofotos”, who remarked the “outstanding presence of Cuba” in the games.

Dozens of his followers applauded the skill Cubans have for dancing, while others joked that “suddenly I wanted to go to the Central Americans.”

“I have noticed that the Caribbean people are the happiest, those from Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico,” commented an Internet user.

“Hey, why do these things happen when I don’t attend,” asked another, while a third exclaimed “Gold medal for Cuba” and “How beautiful, they already have rhythm in their blood!”

However, there was no lack of those who considered that the dance was inappropriate.

“That must be controlled… and the law enforcement authorities… there are children who go there,” said a member of the community.

Cuba has monopolized several medals in the games that this time are based in El Salvador.

On Wednesday there was an emotional moment when the Mexican Fidencio González ceded his bronze medal in the 25-meter Rapid Fire Pistol to the Cuban Leuris Pupo for the same reason that another Cuban athlete had the same gesture with an athlete from the Aztec nation a little over a week ago.

In accordance with the regulations of the Central American Games, the three medals of the same competition cannot be awarded to athletes from the same country, a measure that has been controversial on more than one occasion during the celebration of the sporting event.

Until now, the Mexican delegation fully dominates the medal table of the Central American Games. At the close of this Friday, the Aztec nation had a total of 331 medals, of which 136 are gold. The top five positions are completed by Colombia (229 medals in total and 82 gold), Cuba (182, 69), Venezuela (150, 30) and the Dominican Republic (102, 21).
