1917 is coming to Netflix!
This famous war film is 1917 by Sam Mendes (notably known for having directed the Skyfall component of James Bond) which will arrive February 24, 2023 on Netflix. More than having one or two scenes shot without cutting, the feature film is a giant sequence shot of two hours, with of course some digital cuts. If you’ve seen the trailer, you probably remember this excerpt where actor George MacKay (Corporal William Schofield) goes up a battlefield in front of the camera, without the slightest “cut”.
