Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software today released the new “The Invitation” cinematic trailer for Hogwarts Legacythe upcoming open-world action RPG launching for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 10, 2023.
The video immerses viewers in the world of Hogwarts Legacy and offers a stunning bird’s-eye view of the castle grounds and beyond, while inviting players to become part of the wizarding world and fulfill their dream of attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
What will we see?
The scene follows an owl carrying the long-awaited invitation as it soars over the castle rooftops and above the students in the Great Hall, offering an aerial view of some of the iconic Hogwarts locations for players to explore.
As the owl hovers above the castle, fans will recognize some familiar names and faces, including Nearly Headless Nick and Professor Weasley. The flight of the owl also highlights some of the hidden dangers players will have to face, narrowly dodging a horde of giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest, a deadly blast of Avada Kedavra from a masked wizard, and the fiery breath of a dragon. .

Warner Bros. Games also announced this week the return of Magical Wednesdays. Fans will be able to celebrate the official release of Hogwarts Legacy each of the four Wednesdays prior to the game’s release by logging in to get exclusive prizes from the wizarding world.

Games under the Portkey Games imprint, Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive open-world role-playing game set in the Wizarding World of the 19th century.
