A funny video shows a player of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 trying to pull off an epic move normally reserved for big-budget action movies of the sort James Bondonly to meet with an unexpected and hilarious ending.
Fans of the battle royale shooter have recently seen developers Infinity Ward and Raven Software release an update for Warzone 2 aimed at fixing a number of issues in the game.
Released in late 2022, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is the venerable Call of Duty franchise’s second foray into the battle royale genre. Although many fans of the first Warzone were skeptical of the sequel, unhappy with the changes to some gameplay mechanics and the move to the new Al Mazrah map, the sequel was generally well received by players and critics upon release, despite of the presence of some occasionally frustrating glitches in Warzone 2.
The addition of the new survival-based DMZ mode was particularly praised for breathing new life into the series and providing a welcome alternative to traditional battle royale gameplay.
In a new post on the r/CODWarzone subreddit, user Deydeycarve has shared a hilarious video of their failed attempt to perform an epic move in Call of Duty: Warzone 2. In the video, they are seen running down a coastal road on the Al map. Mazrah when they see an enemy in the distance sailing in one of the speedboats in Warzone 2.
Seeing the opportunity for a truly epic ambush, Deydeycarve leaps from the terraced causeway and opens his parachute, gliding at full speed towards the enemy vessel. He cuts the parachute as he approaches the motorboat and, clearly hoping to deliver an unexpected death from above, Deydeycarve is instantly and unceremoniously dispatched by the speeding craft.
