Although the last Harry Potter book and its film adaptation are more than ten years old, the franchise about the magic student with the scar on his forehead is far from being a thing of the past. Although the spin-offs of the “Fantastic Beasts” series in the cinema could neither meet the expectations of Studio Warner nor those of their own fan base, with the RPG Hogwarts Legacy both sides should finally get their money’s worth again. The title takes place at the eponymous school of magic and like Harry Potter in the 90s, but not in the 1990s, but a century earlier. Instead of slipping into the role of a well-known character, we make our own figure at the beginning of the game, move into one of the four houses and begin our training to become a witch or wizard. As the story progresses, we not only have to deal with the usual stress of school, but also with a goblin rebellion and a group of dark magicians. The title will be released on February 10th for the current generation of consoles and PC.
