Anyone who registers in Dornbirn will now receive a folder with important information and some vouchers.
Dornbirn. Lots of important information as well as vouchers to help you explore your new home: this is the welcome folder that has been given to new residents of Dornbirn since the beginning of the year.
“Nine information sheets on topics such as family services, mobility, security, culture, health or the digital interfaces to the administration provide a quick overview of the city’s service offerings. There are also four vouchers that invite you to try them out,” says Mayor Andrea Kaufmann, describing the city’s new welcome folder. The folder is handed out when registering the new main residence in the town hall. If you register online, you will receive a voucher for picking up the folder at City Hall by post.
53,804 people are currently registered as having their main residence in Dornbirn. The number of new registrations last year was 3,620 people, with people from Dornbirn moving to other communities again and again. Nevertheless, the city continues to grow by around 600 people every year. In order to make the start easier for the new residents of Dornbirn, a welcome folder was put together last year, which briefly and concisely contains the most important information or refers to the offers of the city on the homepage. A QR code is stored on every link to the website so that you can get to the right information even faster.
Information is available on the topics of the digital town hall, mobility, sports, security, health/social issues/care, family services, youth, culture and waste separation and disposal. There are also four vouchers for sports, culture, mobility and leisure activities in the city. All persons who register a new main residence in Dornbirn receive the folder (if they move back to Dornbirn, they must have de-registered at least six months previously). Those who register in the town hall will be given the folder directly; If you register digitally, a subscription slip will be sent by post to collect the folder.
