music library
In addition to listening to audio files, Windows Media Player serves as a music library. You can organize your music by artist, album or genre and access it easily. The function is interesting for offline moments, but still listening to music.

- CD Audio track CDA;
- Indeo Video Technology: IVF;
- Windows Media Player Skins: WMZ, WMS;
- QuickTime Movie File: MOV;
- MP4 Audio File: M4A;
- MP4 video file: MP4, M4V MP4V, 3G2, 3GP2, 3GP, 3GPP;
- Windows audio file: AAC, ADT, ADTS;
- MPEG-2 video file: M2TS;
- Free Lossless Audio Codec: FLAC.
However, this does not mean that additional formats cannot be added. However, you need to know how to install codecs on Windows for it to work, which is not recommended for users without such knowledge.
