The winner of the prize of more than 2.78 million euros from Sunday’s Loto 6/49 drawing has collected his winnings. The man, who is about 60 years old and is from Calafat, said that he has been playing Loto 6/49 constantly for over 20 years.

According to a press release sent on Tuesday by the Romanian Lottery, during the day the winner of the category I prize, worth 13,829,095.20 lei (over 2.78 million euros), presented himself at the headquarters of the Romanian Lottery. obtained at the additional Lotto 6/49 draw of September 17.
The winner is from Calafat, he is around 60 years old and he said that he has been constantly playing Loto 6/49 for over 20 years.
He stated that he always plays only one simple variation and the same numbers, some of which have personal significance. This is his biggest win to date.
