A Microsoft employee probably missed a previously unannounced function of the Notepad text tool – whether by accident or not. in a tweet, which was deleted shortly thereafter, he revealed that Notepad now has tabs in Windows 11. The Notepad screenshot contains a Microsoft internal warning: “Confidential: do not discuss features or take screenshots”. Obviously didn’t work out well. This warning indicates that the tab function is still in an early stage of internal testing at Microsoft, and Windows Insiders will probably be testing the whole thing soon.
