Microsoft’s monthly Patch Tuesday has started. For anyone running the current version of Windows 11 (22H2), this means that KB5022303 is offered for download. Get Windows 11 (21H2) users KB5022287 made available. With the update, Microsoft fixes some vulnerabilities that one has listed here.

The security update KB5022287 also contains quality improvements, the first two points also apply to KB5022303, i.e. Windows 11 (22H2):

This update fixes issues affecting the Local Session Manager (LSM). These issues can allow non-admin users to perform actions that only an administrator can perform.

The update also fixes a known issue affecting applications that use the Microsoft Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) SQL Server driver (sqlsrv32.dll) to connect to databases. The connection may fail. Users may also receive an error in the application or an error from the SQL Server.

It also fixes an issue that may affect startup on some Windows devices. Users may receive an error (0xc000021a) and a blue screen.

Most of them are still using Windows 10, and numerous updates against vulnerabilities in the system are waiting there too. The update should also be available under Windows 10. If you want to read the changelog:
