A local charity in the town of Aziz, located south of the wilaya of Médéa, managed to collect 168 million cents for the purchase of an ambulance for patients in the region, particularly those suffering from kidney failure and cancer.

According to a Facebook page that reports information about the region, the Franco-Algerian international star Zinedine Zidane would have contributed to this initiative with a donation of 53 million and three hundred cents through another charity based this time in Algiers.

This sum would have made it possible to complete the amount necessary for the acquisition of the vehicle and the completion of the fundraising for this initiative, which had been shared on the Facebook page in question.

These patients are often forced to travel outside the region, as the medical services are limited to it and the only ambulance available in the region’s multi-service clinic can only handle urgent cases. The donations were collected over a period not exceeding one week and the ambulance will be purchased tomorrow, Thursday, from the town of Hadjout.

Luca Zidane soon with the Greens?

Zinedine Zidane’s son Luca, could he play for the Greens in the near future? This possibility cannot be ruled out, especially since the young Eibar goalkeeper had clearly expressed his desire to wear the jersey of the Algerian national team.

A few months ago, Luca Zidane showed his ambition to represent Algeria internationally by posting the Algerian flag in one of his Instagram stories. He also shared another post in the desert next to his grandparents, who are from Algeria.

With the goalkeeper spot still in play at national team level, little Zidane could establish himself as number 1 in this position.
