SMHI reports that the snow will be persistent during Friday evening and the night into Saturday. A decimetre of heavy snow is expected, which will primarily end up in the terrain and on tree branches. SMHI states that it is difficult to assess how quickly and how much snow will fall until Saturday morning.
Traffic accidents
At ten past eight, an alarm came that a truck and a car had collided on road 356 at Svalget in Boden municipality. The road is currently closed. The emergency services are on the scene, but it is currently unclear when traffic can flow normally again.
Just over ten minutes later, the next alarm came in about a traffic accident on E4 in the southbound direction at the height of Börjeslandet in Luleå. The rescue service has very recently arrived at the scene of the accident. A lane states SOS Alarm’s alarm operator must be open for traffic to continue in.
