A 21-year-old man identified as Eliseo Ferrer Varona was injured in a traffic accident allegedly caused by a “little horse” during a police pursuit on the Mar Verde highway in Santiago de Cuba.
The incident occurred last Friday and according to Yilian Varona Lopez, the victim’s mother, it was caused “at the curve of the refinery because a little horse kicked him and knocked him out of the engine and hit and kicked him.”

The young man’s brother, Elías Ferrer, also showed images of the accident and said that the policeman even took out a gun to force him to stop.
For its part, the official version of events states that the traffic accident occurred when a policeman ordered Ferrer Varona to stop the motorcycle, because he had three people in the vehicle and he was drunk. The young man would have refused to stop, according to this narration.
In addition, that the four involved, the PNR motorized agent and the three citizens who were riding the MZ motorcycle suffered injuries, said the official profile of Alma Lucena Infante García on the social network.
