It was to be expected, Nintendo reacts to the leaks of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom which were released a few months ago. The American branch goes on the hunt for those responsible.
Nintendo has a lot. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has frequently been the subject of leaks over the past few months. If the publisher has turned a blind eye to the great revelation of his name or to the premature announcements of the Nintendo Direct dedicated to him, the Japanese company is struggling to swallow that a very large part of theartbook official ended up on the web weeks ago.

Remember, at the end of February, almost the entire book ended up on Reddit, for example showing the design of the main and secondary characters in detail as well as the environments and part of the bestiary. A leak colossal as we rarely see from Nintendo and the pill has not passed. The website TorrenFreak indeed reports that the Japanese firm is on the heels of the person responsible for this leak. Nintendo would then have launched a procedure to find the individual who initially shared this leak of the artbook of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The publisher does not stop only at the famous pirate site, but would also put pressure on the side of Discord.
Several claims for copyright infringement have been sent directly to the teams of the American firm. They would then have reacted in eight minutes flat to remove the links shared on the “Tears of the Kingdom Official Discord” server. It was obviously only the first step since TorrentFreak explains that Nintendo would have returned to the charge 10 hours later by purely and simply requesting the overpressure of the Discord server in question. According to the site, several members of the chan continued to broadcast the leaks of the’artbook Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the publisher having the formal identity of the four individuals “responsible” for distributing the links in MP. The mention “official” in the name is also difficult to pass with the Japanese giant.
Discord soon forced to reveal the identity of the leaker?
The instant messaging platform then invited Nintendo to file a complaint directly and the Japanese publisher was quick to wait. The American branch filed a request for assignment of a claim for copyright infringement with the Californian justice on Tuesday, April 4. In its sights, a particular member of the famous Discord server that the company believes to be the individual at the origin of the leaks Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. In its request, Nintendo wants to force the American company to reveal the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the person of the person in question.
In the end, it’s not so much a surprise when you know Nintendo’s policy in terms of leak. Fortunately, the artbook had not revealed in advance the most beautiful surprises of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, starting with Link’s new powers that will give players even more freedom.
