Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Players dissatisfied because you can’t pet the dog

In the world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom you will also meet some dogs. But there is bad news too.

You can’t pet the four-legged friends and some fans aren’t very happy about that.

“We’ve waited six years, and what for?” asks a user on Twitter. Another commented: “Okay, that’s enough, I’m not buying it.”

“That’s what the ‘Tears’ part (in the title) refers to,” writes another user. In another comment there is a reference to the durability of the weapons: “If you pet him, the lifespan decreases and he breaks.”

So there you have it: Unfortunately, you cannot pet dogs in Tears of the Kingdom. Maybe Nintendo will add this option in a future patch for Link’s new adventure.
