Through the investigation of about 11 million active patent families this time, LexisNexis evaluated the patent influence of each company and formed the “Innovation Momentum: Global Top 100” report (Innovation Momentum 2023). The final list of companies must not only have a large number of authorized patents, but also be ahead of global competitors in terms of technical influence (mainly based on the number of global citations of patents) and market influence (mainly based on the market covered by patents).
This year’s “Innovation Momentum: Global Top 100” has a total of 27 new candidates, reflecting the fierce iteration in the field of technology under the changes in the global economy, policies and other external environments, while the two leading industries of pharmaceutical technology and information technology remain in the top 100 The first two in the business.
